Who We Are
BRIALPACA is a Peruvian artisan textile brand dedicated to bringing the finest handcrafted alpaca garments to the international market. Founded by Bri, a passionate advocate for Andean heritage and fair craftsmanship, we represent a collective of skilled weavers, knitters, and fiber artisans from the highlands of Peru.
We have supplied our handmade alpaca pieces to recognized international brands, boutiques in Europe and North America, and individual customers who value authenticity over mass production. Every garment leaving our workshop carries with it the story of the hands that made it.
Our Artisans & How We Work
Each BRIALPACA garment is 100% handmade — no shortcuts, no machines. Our artisans use traditional wooden looms for woven pieces and hand-knitting needles for the knitwear. The techniques they employ have been passed down through families for generations, adapted to modern fashion sensibility while preserving their Andean soul.
Our artisans work from their homes and small community workshops in the Andean highlands of Peru, at altitudes above 3,500 meters. We pay fair wages above market rate, provide materials, and guarantee regular orders that give artisans reliable income throughout the year.

The Alpaca Fiber
We work exclusively with 100% baby alpaca, the finest and most luxurious grade of alpaca fiber, sourced from alpacas living in the Peruvian altiplano above 4,000 meters. Baby alpaca is:
- Softer than cashmere — with a fiber diameter of 18–22 microns
- Warmer than merino wool — hollow fiber structure traps heat efficiently
- Naturally hypoallergenic — free of lanolin, ideal for sensitive skin
- Sustainable & biodegradable — alpacas tread lightly on the land
- Available in 22+ natural colors without dyeing
Our Products & Custom Orders
Our catalog includes ponchos, sweaters and cardigans, scarves and stoles, blankets and throws, hats and accessories — all available in our standard palette of natural alpaca colors as well as custom dyed options. We welcome:

- Wholesale / bulk orders — boutiques, department stores, hotels
- Private label — custom branding, tags, and packaging
- Custom design — your color palette, your patterns, your sizing
Production time: 3–6 weeks depending on order size. We ship via DHL Express or FedEx International, with FOB Lima terms available for large wholesale orders.
